In juli 1985 vond Live Aid plaats, een internationaal benefietconcert dat maar liefst zestien uur duurde. Bert Heerink en vele anderen brengen veertig jaar na dato een muzikale ode aan het legendarische festival. Je hoort de grootste hits van onder meer David Bowie, Sting, U2, Simple Minds, Elton John, Led Zeppelin en The Who, afgewisseld met boeiende verhalen, anekdotes en achtergronden.
